DMV custom plate fees
On top of our $45 fee, the DMV charges for custom plates. Passenger and commercial plates: $60 initial cost and $31.25 a year. Motorcycle plates: $35 initial cost and $18.75 a year.
Is it same day?
No. Custom plates are made to order. The DMV processes the order and mails your plates.
