About these terms
These Terms & Conditions apply to ljinsuranceagency.com and the services of LJ Insurance Agency Inc. ("LJ Insurance Agency", "we"), a licensed insurance agency and NYS DMV Authorized PSB Partner with offices in South Ozone Park, Ozone Park, Richmond Hill and Jamaica, NY. By using this website or our services you agree to these terms.
DMV services
We prepare DMV forms for you to review and sign, and submit them to the New York State DMV. DMV fees are set by New York State and are separate from our service fee. Our DMV service fees are non-refundable. These DMV services may also be available, at no additional charge, directly from the official DMV website at www.dmv.ny.gov.
Insurance
Quotes are estimates until an insurance company issues a policy. Coverage starts only when the carrier binds it. We charge a service fee of $79 for newly bound policies and $49 for renewals. See our Cancellation Policy for refunds and the 60-day policy change rule.
Bookings and accounts
Online bookings hold a 15-minute visit time. Walk-ins are welcome and may be served in between. Your account uses one-time sign-in codes sent to your email or mobile number; keep access to them private.
LJ Rewards
Rewards are credits toward LJ Insurance Agency services, not cash. You earn $5 for each completed visit and $10 for a referral when the friend completes a first visit. Rewards expire 14 months after they are earned. We may change or end the program with notice on this page.
SMS Terms
Program
LJ Insurance Agency Inc. sends text messages to customers who opt in: appointment confirmations and reminders, wait-time alerts, sign-in codes, quote and policy updates, replies from your agent, LJ Rewards updates, and registration or policy renewal reminders. No marketing messages.
Opt in and opt out
You opt in by checking the text-message box on our booking, quote or account form, or in your account settings. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, START to subscribe again, or HELP for help.
Cost and frequency
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
